We have noticed that there is a descrepency between the Exception Count and the actual outstanding items (or Proposed, Write-Off or Unbalanced) when you drill into the Recon. Since Exception Count is so promedent in the screen this creates some confusion in the users. What would be most useful is if the Exception Count actually reflected the number of items when you drill into the Recon. Some of the issues that cause this descrepency is Resolution Date on the Match Group which is always based off of PostedOrIssue. However, not all recons are Post Date based and may be based on another date. In addition we have seen where Write-Offs are not reflected (See attached for examples of Both.
