Creating views is a cumbersome task. If PS needs to create 20-30 continuous models for an implementation, that specific task could take hours or days. A copy model or copy view button would be extremely helpful to streamline building of models.
Re: Copy View Configuration - one approach I saw in a previous product I worked with (which also had complicated view / column configuration), was that the config could be downloaded as a JSON file to the user's desktop, then uploaded into a new configuration.
This method isn't suited for end-users, of course. But something like this should be fine for the curators.
(added benefit, savvy users could edit the JSON file manually to add / remove fields)
Hi Andrew. So when creating a new model, all fields are put into the default view. With large clients that have many user created fields outside the default fields, you may have to delete 200 fields everytime when you create a new model. For some of these upgrades, there may be 20-30 continuous models created and that will be a full day of a PS resource just creating those views. A clear all button of fields in the view, starting a new model with no field spresent in the view, or the ability to copy a view from another recon model would probably all be solutions

Just a thought :)

Patrick - can you provide more details and examples.
